About Wicked
A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.
The facts: Returning to Khao Lak after the Boxing day tsunami, diving instructors Paul Landgraver and Karin Sundelius wanted to make a difference. In 2006, they founded Wicked on the premise that safety and service can easily work hand in hand with responsible tourism. In a tiny shop with not much more than ambition, a few set of diving equipment and a very large helping of stubbornness - the shop began. In seeking out other people who had the same concern for safety and service, new staff were found and the Wicked team grew, as did our reputation.
Our Similan Dive Center is located in Khao Lak, Thailand and serves the Similan and Surin Islands as well as local wrecks, reefs, muck diving and lake diving. We also offer an array of snorkeling and other non-diving activities from there. We are opening our Komodo Dive Center in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia in June of 2011 and this will serve as our base for adventures through the Komodo National Park and we will be offering diving, snorkeling and trekking. Twice yearly (for now)we offer 3 week expeditions from Singapore to the Komodo National Park and vice versa.
Currently operating two Liveaboards - the Parinee and the Jaya - our goal is to make challenge that old myth that diving is an "extreme sport". sure, there places you can go to where it all "dive, dive, dive" and little else. This excludes non-divers, people who may wish to only casually dive and what happens if there is inclement weather? We aim to offer an experience on our boats, in our courses and with our staff that rewards and enriches. We hope that each guest walks away remembering the great experience, regardless of their training level, activity or the weather!

The Real Story:
In truth - we are so much more than just a dive shop in Thailand - way more. The narrative of Wicked Diving is much richer and interesting, and in all truth too much for a webpage! Hey, we've only just met :) Why not browse through some of the pages below to get a better feel for how we do things and what makes us special. After that, maybe we can sit down and talk about who you are, and why you should be here with us...right now.
